loved it, so true. all the points you make are completely valid criticisms, but you still managed to make it funny without sounding preachy. i loved it, make more! we need more artists like you on NG

"perfect troll flash on multiple levels"

this flash has been amazingly effective at angering people. it actually passed judgment with a score of around 3.5, and now its in turd of the week contention.

its not hard to see why so many people hate it.

at first glance, it looks like a poorly done MGS parody, which pisses off MGS fans who want to see jokes that are more faithful to the game. its also very easy for people with weak stomachs to want to close the thing before the best parts due to all the gross out imagery. i would say 90% of the negative reviews are in this vein, with the actual point of the flash going completely over their heads.

at second glance, its clear this isn't a parody of MGS at all, but a satire of newgrounds in general. on that level, it makes people even more mad because it presents a message they disagree with. about 10% of the negative reviews are in this vein.

in any case, even if you didn't find the flash itself funny, you HAVE to love the reaction. this is a treasure trove of hilarious abuse. to anyone questioning why the collab was made in the first place or why tom frontpaged it, just read the negative reviews. with every zero review, i picture the reviewer as looking exactly like the fat nerds in CDM's seinfeld part

excellent work for an audio portal piece. soothing and ambient, but trippy and scary all at the same time. a very interesting piece of work, sounds very unique and id love to use it in a flash

i like how ye voice gets higher as it goes along
